Karlakattai & Mudgar Wooden Clubs

Karlakattai and mudgar are ancient Indian tools for developing strength and endurance, with a history dating back 6000 years. These clubs are an integral part of Indian physical culture and essential training tools for warriors and wrestlers. When the British began colonising India, they regarded the ancient method with apprehension but great interest, learned to use it and brought the knowledge to Europe.
